A different climax for What’s Your Raashee?

In distinction from other auteurs, Ashutosh Gowariker stands a pole apart from turning ‘words into pictures’. If it sounds quite odd, here’s the story. As known earlier, ‘What’s your Raashee?’ has been inspired from Madhu Rye’s novel where a guy comes across 12 brides and finally enters into nuptials with his favourite one.

Perhaps, Ashutosh wanted to move on with an unparalleled attempt on changing the climax much different from the novel.

Interacting with media channels about this, Ashutosh says, “It’s true that we’ve changed the climax portion so that those it wouldn’t be a spoiler-factor for those who’ve already read Madhu Rye’s novel. Of course, the author was much dumbfounded to hear the changes I made. But later, he got to understand the situation from audiences’ perspective and acknowledged my point…” Also the filmmaker added that Madhu was surprised to witness Priyanka Chopra herself enacting the 12 roles. "Of course, roping in 12 different actresses and one amongst them joining hands with the protagonist would lead to a different crisis and thusly we came up with certain plans…" tots up Ashu...
